Program Summary: In this dynamic and interactive workshop, attendees will participate in exercises to help them explore the relationships between self-love, accessing support, financial prosperity and professional satisfaction. Attendees will receive innovative “wheel exercises” developed by Marter which can be used with clients in any setting to help them identify areas of need and develop an action plan for taking better care of themselves, welcoming prosperity and career success, and accessing real support.

Program Summary: Psychotherapist and entrepreneur, Joyce Marter explores the psychology of money and how to shift your thinking and change your relationship with money to welcome true prosperity. Citing research that shows the correlations between positive self-esteem (such as confidence, self-compassion and self-care) and financial prosperity, Marter illustrates how self-worth is connected to net-worth. Attendees will learn how to promote financial health for themselves and their clients using techniques from cognitive behavioral therapy, narrative therapy and mindfulness practices. Program Summary:  Sexual harassment in the workplace has been a much discussed topic over the past couple of years with the #MeToo movement and the media covering the many celebrities, politicians and business leaders who have been accused. In an effort to support clients who have been the victims of sexual harassment, attendees of this presentation will learn the definition of sexual harassment, the various types, and legal factors. Learn the laws in place that protect victims and how to empower clients who are experiencing harassment to advocate for themselves. Participants will learn treatment implications and approaches for addressing trauma and other symptomatology related to harassment.

Program Summary:  The research shows that nearly 2/3 of couples experiences a serious decline in relationship satisfaction during the first two years after having a baby. Learn how to provide pre- and post-baby couples counseling for expectant and new parents. Program Summary: According the National Alliance on mental illness, over six million adult Americans are living with Bipolar Disorder. In this presentation that cites research and provides , attendees will learn the signs and symptoms of bipolar disorder, comorbidity with other disorders such as addiction. Participants will learn how to make a differential diagnosis and explore treatment implications. Practical suggestions for treatment and resources will be provided.
